The Objective is to:

5. Explain how liquified air can be separated into its components by fractionsl distillation.
6. Carry out experiments to investigate the conditions for rusting, and state the composition of rust.
7. State the methods of preventing rusting.
8. Prepare Oxygen, investigate its properties and state its uses.
9. Arrange some elements in order of their reactivity with Oxygen using experimantal data.
10. Classify the products of burning elements in Oxygen.
11. Classify the products of burning elements in Oxygen either as acidic or basic.
12. State pollution effects due to burning of substances in air.
13. State the uses of reactivity.
