Our Trees is a KICD approved levelled reader. This book is approved for Kenya CBC. It is the modern storybook. It is written to cater for learners with different reading abilities, regardless of their Grade. At this level, learners are developing knowledge on the alphabet. They are learning to identify and decode language patterns. Simple and repetitive structures are needed to help learners develop accuracy in word reading. Left-to-right reading is developed and learners read slowly and aloud. Stories are based on only one idea. This book is about planting and caring for trees. It teaches the learners about the importance of trees in the environment. This book is CBC approved by KICD.
